Listen to those who believed.

My twins entered into Program Believes after school program the summer after Kindergarten. One of them was stronger than the other in reading but neither were performing as good as they should have been.

After an intense summer with the teachers and staff at Program Believe they were ready for First Grade at a near by elementary school. I had communicated my concerns with the teachers and we all worked together to address them. Ms. Kay Horne would even pick the boys up from school and bring them to the center. They improved so much through their First Grade year- then COVID 19.

PB was able to pivot their program of work to a virtual environment, even providing packets of work on a weekly basis via a drive through process. 

PB also provided nutritional support as well as an alternative to the traditional learning environment.

This year, the twins are in person and at a different elementary school and they haven’t had any problems. The after school teachers (Beverly and Mitchell) provide emotional support to the twins as this has been a tough year for everyone involved.

Lastly, the twins lost their grandmother last year and for me, PB was the one activity that remained a constant in their life during that time.

Program Believe has a small but mighty staff that will move mountain for each other, the parents and the children under their leadership. 

En mi caso con el poco tiempo que tengo el programa me permite asistir a clase aunque no habla fluido el ingles ya comprendo una conversación y me dejo entender, puedo hacer una orden en un restaurante, ir de compras Sola sin depender de mi esposo y hasta sacar mi licencia de conducir, para mí believe es una gran ayuda a la Comunidad hispana el cual estoy muy agradecida, En lo personal a maty le ha ayudado mucho en tanto en lo social Como en lo Escolar, el programa believe nos Brinda un espacio donde tenemos la.confianza de dejar a nuestros niños no para que Los cuiden si no para desarrollar y reforzar Las habilidades para su desarrollo en el caso de maty es hijo único y el programa les ayuda a reforzar esta parte en compartir con otros niños al mismo tiempo que está aprendiendo al mismo tiempo experimentation cosas buenas. 

In my case, with the little time that I have, the program allows me to attend classes even though I don't speak English fluently, I already understand a conversation and let myself be understood, I can place an order at a restaurant, go shopping alone without depending on my husband and even getting my driver's license, for me believes it is a great help to the Hispanic Community for which I am very grateful. Personally, Maty has helped her a lot both socially and at school, the believe program provides us with a space where We have the confidence to leave our children, not to take care of them, but to develop and reinforce the skills for their development in the case of Maty, she is an only child, and the program helps them reinforce this part by sharing with other children at the same time. you are learning while experimenting good things.

Program Believe has been and still is very helpful, friendly and welcoming to me and people of all ages. They are very authentic to people such as myself and to others that need help to reach their educational goals and to become better. I absolutely love the people and the vibe, they help each other and feel like family.  

Though my husband and I have the privilege of being college graduates and fluent English speakers, we were still intimidated and overwhelmed by the complexities of filing for our marriage based green card. Xenia and the team at Program Believe were exactly who we needed! Xenia laid out everything we needed to do, knew all the documents we needed, and also took the time to explain the meaning behind each form and what this process looked like. With both of us being in graduate school during our filing process, it was invaluable to have an expert on top of everything and steering us in the right direction. I credit Xenia's preparation of our file for our success in achieving our marriage-based residency card in less than a year! We will be continuing to work under Xenia's guidance as we work towards US citizenship. I have a fun time working at Believe and I get to meet new and fun people. Believe can teach you a lot of things about school subjects plus your mindset. If there a chance i can comeback i would definitely also the teacher is very kind. 

 I enjoyed working with the kids over the summer. Most importantly I had fun doing it, Got experience as well.
